Defending Division I champ St. Xavier opens the season ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25 that is created with our proprietary algorithm. The Bombers will test that ranking this week against No. 8 Colerain, which is coming-off a close 7-3 loss to No. 4 La Salle.
No. 2 St. Ignatius, which opened with a win over two-time defending Division III champ Archbishop Hoban, plays No. 6 Mentor this week.
No. 7 Archbishop Moeller will be on the road to face Trinity in Louisville. After back-to-back win over Indiana-powers, Trinity is ranked No. 12 in the High School Football America Top 100. The top five teams in the Ohio Top 25 are ranked nationally.

Wayne started the year in the Top 100, but dropped-out after its 41-0 loss to nationally-ranked Pine-Richland on national television in Pennsylvania Sunday. The Warriors will try to get on-track when it faces No. 13 Olentangy Liberty this week.
