Before the start of Saturday night’s Under Armour Brothers in Arms Classic game between No. 1 Mater Dei (California) and No. 34 Bergen Catholic (New Jersey), Monarch head coach Bruce Rollinson told me it was good to have all 11 starters healthy for the first time this year. He then went-on to say the car was “loaded” and he was going to “open it up.”
And, open it up he did as the top-ranked Monarchs blew past BC 62-14 in a game that saw 5-star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown make his 2017 debut with three touchdown catches. Junior quarterback J.T. Daniels, who’s given his verbal to USC, tossed five touchdown passes in the victory.
