Four of the five Pennsylvania high school football teams ranked in the High School Football America Top 100 national rankings that play this weekend picked-up easy wins.
No. 35 Pine-Richland (6-0) rolled past Pittsburgh Central Catholic (4-2), which began the season ranked in our Top 100. The Rams beat the Vikings 47-17 to improve to 6-0. Central has now lost to Pine-Richland and No. 48 Erie Cathedral Prep that beat St. Francis from New York 48-0 on Friday.

Next week, Prep (6-0) will travel to Michigan to play De La Salle Collegiate Prep (5-1). After next week’s game, the Ramblers will have played teams from Michigan, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania. In two weeks, ECP will play West Toronto Prep from Canada.
No. 47 Archbishop Wood (4-2) beat Archbishop Ryan 42-6. Nasir Peoples, who’s a verbal commit to Virginia Tech as a safety, rushed for 176 yards and three TD’s in the first half.
On Saturday, No. 88 Harrisburg ripped Hershey 60-0. 5-star defensive end Micah Parsons had a big day on offense with three touchdown runs.
No. 13 St. Joseph’s Prep was idle and plays Roman Catholic on Saturday.
