Former NFL lineman Dave Alexander has done a great job of building the high school football program at Broken Arrow. Since taking-over as the Tigers head coach in 2014, Alexander has led the program to a 44-16 record with the school’s first state title coming last year, which included a No. 13 ranking in the High School Football America 100. His 2015 team finished runner-up.

On today’s High School Football America podcast, Alexander, who is a Broken Arrow alum, talks about the importance of playing more than one sport in high school. In the recent NFL Draft, 29 of the 32 players taken in the first round were multi-sport athletes.
