After beating St. Xavier and Trinity, Male is a solid No. 1 in the High School Football America Kentucky Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football. The Bulldogs 24-10 win over Trinity last Friday moves Male to a 4-0 start, while Trinity, playing one of the toughest schedules in the nation, falls to 0-5.
So far, Trinity has lost to three teams in the High School Football America 100 national rankings — No. 49 Male, No. 53 La Salle (Ohio) and No. 100 Carmel (Indiana). The Shamrocks’ fourth loss was to St. Rita, ranked No. 180 this week. The other loss was a forfeit loss to Ohio’s Archbishop Moeller due to COVID-19 protocols.

Trinity will look for its first win this week when it plays arch-rival St. X. The Tigers are currently ranked No. 186 in our national rankings and No. 2 in the state.
