There are no changes in the first 2023 Nevada Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, even though three teams lost during the opening weekend.

Top-ranked Bishop Gorman opened with a come-from behind win against Utah-power Corner Canyon. The win moved the Gaels to No. 3 in our national rankings. This week, Gorman heads to Nike World Headquarters in Oregon to play No. 74 Long Beach Poly (California) in the Nike Kickoff Classic.

All three Top 10 losses last week were against California opponents:

  • No. 2 Liberty lost 44-22 to St. John Bosco, No. 2 in the HSFA 300 national rankings
  • No. 4 Arbor View lost to Cajon 27-2
  • No. 10 Spanish Springs lost to Oak Ridge 54-14
