For the first time this year, El Cajon’s Granite Hills breaks into the California Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Eagles soar into the statewide rankings at No. 20 after a thrilling double overtime win over Helix, dropping the Highlanders from No. 21 to No. 22 this week.

The scramble in the Trinity League, beneath No. 1 St. John Bosco and No. 2 Mater Dei, continues with Servite jumping from No. 20 to No. 13 after a 50-42 win over Santa Margarita. The Eagles drop four spots to No. 14 after the loss.

Making its first-ever appearance in our statewide rankings is Clovis North at No. 24.
