LHSAA approves raises for Louisiana referees and officials

The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) is reporting that it has finalized a four-year agreement with the Louisiana High School Officials Association (LHSOA) that will allow high school athletic events in Louisiana to go on as scheduled without interruption.

According to a LHSAA news release, the agreement will implement raises officials in seven sports — baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, volleyball and wrestling. The raises will remain in effective through the 2018-19 school year.
