The National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars have named Adam Geis of Sandalwood High School as the team’s 2020 High School Coach of the Year. Geis was the Week 7 Coach of the Week award winner.
This past season, Sandalwood finished 9-3, losing to eventual 8A state champion Seminole (Sanford) in the regional semifinals.
Geis is now a finalist for the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year Award. Each team nominates a finalist for the prestigious award that recognizes coaches for their character and integrity, leadership, dedication to the community, commitment to player health and safety and on-field success.
