After taking Langston Hughes to three Georgia high school football championship games since 2021, Daniel “Boone” Williams is taking on a new challenge. Williams has been named the new head football coach at Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia.

This past season, LH lost to Milton in the Class 5A state championship. The Panthers finished No. 52 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Hughes also finished No. 8 in our Georgia Top 25.

In six seasons as the head coach, Williams led the Panthers to 63 wins, including the 2022 state championship in Class 6A.

Last year, Northside finished 2-8 under Ben Bailey, who led the Eagles to six wins over the last two seasons.
