Auburn moves into the High School Football America Alabama Top 10 after handing former No. 4 McGill-Toolen its first loss of the season. The Tigers, who break-in at No. 7 in the statewide rankings, will face Central (Phenix City) in the 7A semifinals this Friday. In the other semi, top-ranked Thompson will face No. 2 Hoover.
Both 7A games will be rematches from the regular season when Central beat Auburn 34-7 and Thompson beat Hoover 48-30.
