Only a small change in the penultimate 2024 High School Football America Alabama Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
After losing its first game of the year, Oxford falls to No. 10 in the latest rankings. The Yellow Jackets 20-7 loss to No. 6 Parker capped a 13-1 season. It also sends Parker into the 6A championship game against No. 1 Saraland.
Parker hasn’t played for an Alabama high school football championship since 1980.
The 7A championship game on Wednesday is a rematch of the 2023 title game won by Central (Phenix City) 21-19 over Thompson that will be looking for its fifth title in the last six years.
