Morris, who spent last season as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Auburn, owns three Texas high school football titles. Before leaving for SMU, Morris led Lake Travis to back-to-back state titles in 2008 and 2009. He also won a state title as the head coach at Bay City. His high school record is 169-38.
Allen is considered one of the premier high school jobs in the nation. The Eagles won three straight High School Football America “mythical” national championships between 2012 and 2014 with current Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray at the helm of a potent offense.
