Following our naming of Allen as our national champs Sunday, two more national ranking services followed suit on Monday.
MaxPreps.com and NationalHSFootball.com, both crowned the Texas Class 6A-I champs as their respective national champions today. USA Today also released its poll Monday with Bishop Gorman #1 and Allen #3.
All three services will release another poll after this Saturday’s game between Booker T. Washington (Florida) and Bingham (Utah). Those two will meet in the Burger King State Champions Bowl Series in Boca Raton, Florida. Our Top 25 is final, since we’ve decided not to put that game into our algorithm, because Bingham, ranked by the other three won’t have played a game in over a month since winning the Utah 5A title on November 21st. Booker T. finished #6 in our poll, while Bingham was just outside of the Top 25.
