Ben Davis moves-up three spots to No. 5 in the first 2023 in-season High School Football America Indiana Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Giants jump comes after an impressive 49-28 win over Ohio-power Archbishop Moeller, who entered the game ranked No. 54 in the HSFA 300 preseason national rankings.

BD opened the season just outside of the Top 300 at No. 301. On Sunday, they broke into the Top 300 at No. 128.

Three-time reigning 6A champ Center Grove remains No. 1 despite its season opening loss. The Trojans dropped a 27-10 decision to two-time defending Ohio Division I champ St. Edward. Coming up Friday, CG will host three-time defending Tennessee 6A champ Oakland.

No. 6 Carmel will also be taking on a power from another state. The Greyhounds will host two-time defending Missouri Class 6 champ Christian Brothers College.

This week’s big in-state game features No. 2 Cathedral traveling to No. 3 Brownsburg. Last year, the Bulldogs shocked Cathedral with a 42-35 road victory.

Fort Wayne Snider enters the rankings at No. 9 after beating preseason No. 8 Warren Central.
