Blum is the first Lone Star State champ crowned in 2019 after winning the Texas 6-man high school football championship in Class 1A Division I Wednesday afternoon at AT&T Stadium. Blum won the school’s first-ever state title with a 58-52 win over defending state champ McLean.
The Bobcats won the title in the last minute of the game when Coltin Gonzales scored on a 29-yard touchdown run.

The championship caps a 13-game run by Blum, which started 2019 with two straight losses, including 65-38 loss to McLean in the season-opener.
