Scott Hershberger closed out an excellent New Hampshire high school football career Saturday by leading Campbell to the Division III high school football championship.

Hershberger, who broke the state’s all-time rushing record, ran for 148 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-7 win against Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough in the championship game. He closes-out his senior season with 2,097 yards. He ended his career with a state record 6,212 yards rushing on 593 carries, which averages out to 10.4 yards per carry.
