Chandler gets revenge in winning Arizona 6A state title

For the second time in three years, Chandler High School (12-2) hoisted a state championship football trophy. Saturday night at University of Phoenix Stadium, the Wolves beat Mountain Pointe, ranked #43 in the High School Football America National Top 50, by a score of 36-17 in the 6A state championship game.  The win avenged a regular season 52-7 blowout loss to Mountain Pointe (13-1).

Sophomore quarterback Jacob Conover was 12 of 22 for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Senior running back T.J. Green scored three touchdowns for the Wolves.
