For the first time since 2009, Clinton is a South Carolina high school football champ. Thursday, the Red Devils used a strong run game to beat Barnwell 35-6 for the Class AA state title at Willie E. Jeffries Field at South Carolina State University’s Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.

Clinton’s ground game gained 312 yards while the Red Devils defense limited Barnwell to 135 total yards.
