2018 Class 7A runner-up Colquitt County starts the season ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Georgia Top 25 that is created with our proprietary algorithm. The Packers opened the season by beating North Gwinnett, which tumbles a bit to No. 11 from its preseason ranking of No. 5 after the 17-6 defeat in the Corky Kell Classic Saturday.
