After seven games between teams in the High School Football America Top 25 this past weekend, there’s plenty of shifting in this week’s rankings.
Top-ranked Corona Centennial solidified its position with a 52-13 win over Serra (Gardena) at The Honor Bowl Saturday night. The Huskies won’t have a breather as it travels to new #8 Orange Lutheran on Friday. The Lancers climbed seven spots by beating former #12 Crespi.
Corona Centennial is also ranked #3 in our national Top 25.
Aside from the Centennial/OLu match-up, there’s one other meeting between Top 25 teams in the week ahead. #6 Mission Viejo travels to La Habra Friday night. La Habra is the only new entrant to this week’s poll at #25.
One other interesting match-up is #2 St. John Bosco traveling to Oregon to take-on two-time Class 6A state champ Central Catholic on Friday.
