The Deseret News does a great job when it comes to coverage high school football in Utah. Every year, the newspaper produces a Coaches’ Poll by asking high school football coaches around the state to vote for the Top 5 teams in their classification.
The results are in and every 2019 state champ begins the season No. 1 in their respective classifications.
Leading the way is 6A champ Corner Canyon, which finished No. 22 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings. The Cougars also finished No. 1 in our Utah Top 10.
