Dutch Fork gets 3-peat in South Carolina’s biggest classification

Dutch Fork continues to dominate South Carolina high school football. Friday, the Silver Foxes, ranked No. 85 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, beat No. 86 Summerville 35-21 for the Class 5A Division I championship.

The championship is the third straight for DF and ninth overall since 2013. All of the titles have been with Tom Knotts as the program’s head coach. Overall, Coach Knotts has now won 16 state championships with seven coming with Independence in North Carolina.
