The 2024 Massachusetts high school football season begins this weekend with fall camps opening across the Bay State on Saturday. High School Football America has put together a comprehensive list of key dates for the season below.

Dates for the state championships at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, will be determined at a later date.

2024 Key Dates in Massachusetts

  • First practice – August 16
  • First games – September 3
  • Regular season ends – November 2
  • Playoffs begin – November 8
  • State Championships – TBD at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots
