Robinson’s eighth straight Florida girls’ flag high school football championship is a special one. On Saturday, the Knights extended their championship streak inside an NFL training facility.
For the first time ever, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosted the 2024 Florida High School Athletic Association‘s state championships at the National Football League team’s AdventHealth Training Center. Robinson is located just south of Tampa.
Robinson won the 1A championship with a 27-6 defeat of Pembroke Pines Charter. The win capped a perfect 24-0 season and gives the school nine overall girls’ flag state championships.
Miami Palmetto won the 2A state title with a 26-25 win over Lennard. The win capped a 20-1 season for the Panthers.
