It was quite a first week in the High School Football America Florida Top 25 rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Preseason No. 1 Chaminade, No. 2 IMG Academy and No. 3 St. Thomas Aquinas all lost their openers.
Despite the losses, the only shuffle at the top is at No. 2 and No. 3.
Chaminade-Madonna stays at No. 1 after a hard-fought loss to two-time HSFA national champ St. John Bosco. The Lions entered the game ranked No. 3 in the HSFA 300. Bosco was ranked No. 5 in America.
St. Thomas Aquinas moves up from No. 3 to No. 2 after coming close to beating to Nevada’s Bishop Gorman, which entered the game ranked No. 2 in the HSFA 300.
IMG drops from No. 2 to No. 3 after beating surprised in Utah by Corner Canyon.
