After one year as the head coach at Rolling Meadows High School in Illinois, former NFL kicker Robbie Gould has resigned. RM finished 5-5 this year, losing to St. Charles North in the opening round of the Class 7A playoffs. It was the first time the program made the playoffs since 2021.

“I’m so proud of the progress we’ve made together at Rolling Meadows,” Gould said in a statement from the school district. “Watching these athletes grow not just on the field but as individuals has been an honor. Although it’s time for me to move on, I leave knowing the foundation we’ve strengthened ensures the program is set for continued success.”

Gould kicked for the Chicago Bears from 2005 through 2015. He retired with 1,961 points, tenth on the NFL’s All-time scoring list.
