Four teams extend long win streaks Friday night

Kimberly (Wisconsin) extended the longest active win streak in the nation Friday night to 57 games, but it wasn’t until the end that the Papermakers ensured that would be going after No. 58 next week.

According to Fox 11, with the score tied at 28-all against Fond du Lac, Kimberly’s D.J. Stewart scored on a 2-yard run to make the final score 35-28.

Soldotna (Alaska) owns the third longest active streak in the nation.  Friday night, the Stars extended their streak to 51 in a row by beating Dimond 64-6.

In Missouri, Lamar won its 36th straight with a 28-0 shutout of Cassville.

Cartersville (Georgia) won its 31st straight Friday night with a 35-14 victory over Allatoona.
