Defending 6A state champ Derby is back in familiar territory. The Panthers, who have played in six of the past seven Kansas 6A state championship games have advanced to the state quarterfinals.
Derby, ranked No. 5 in the High School Football America Kansas Top 5 statewide rankings, will play top-ranked Lawrence this weekend in the state quarters.
