Calvert Hall climbs two spots in the latest High School Football America Maryland Top 10 that is created with our proprietary algorithm. The Cardinals, who will play Gilman this week, are No. 6 this week with their only loses coming at the hands of No. 2 St. Frances and No. 5 Wise.
Washington Catholic Athletic Conference play opens this week No. 1 DeMatha and No. 4 Good Counsel. Both teams are currently ranked in the High School Football America Top 100.

DeMatha plays Gonzaga, which is 5-1 and 1-0 in WCAC play. Good Counsel takes-on St. John’s College High School (Washington, DC), which is No. 26 in the national Top 100. Good Counsel is ranked No. 98.
Speaking of inner-Top 100 match-ups, St. Frances, No. 25 in the Top 100, faces McDonogh, ranked No. 87 this week in a big Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association game. St. Frances is 2-0 in the MIAA A Conference, while McDonogh is 1-0. SFA has only given-up 15 total points in its first six games.
