For the second straight year, Houston’s North Shore is No. 1 in the final High School Football America Public Schools Top 25. The Mustangs are one of nine Texas teams in the national rankings.
In our national rankings, North Shore finished No. 5 in the High School Football America 100 after winning its second consecutive Texas Class 6A Division I state title.

The other Texas teams in the Top 25 are: Duncanville at No. 4, Westlake at No. 11, Aledo at No. 15, Katy at No. 18, Southlake Carroll at No. 20, Rockwall at No. 23, Allen at No. 24 and Lake Travis at No. 25.
Behind the Lone Star State is Georgia with four teams are in the Top25 — Marietta (No. 3) Lowndes (No. 8), Grayson (No. 16), McEachern (No. 19).
Florida has three teams in the Top 25 — No. 2 Miami Northwestern, No. 7 Miami Central and No. 22 Booker T. Washington (Miami).
