Folsom’s grip on the top spot in the High School Football America Sacramento Top 20 got stronger with last Friday’s win over No. 3 Granite Bay.  This week, the Bulldogs will face No. 4 Del Oro in a Sierra Foothill League battle.

Also in the Sierra Foothill this weekend, No. 2 Oak Ridge, which will meet Folsom in the regular season finale for both teams on November 3, faces Rocklin.  Both teams bring 1-0 league records into the contest.

In the Delta League, No. 9 Jesuit plays No. 13 Elk Grove this week. Both squads are 2-0 in the league.  No. 11 Monterey Trail will play No. 12 Franklin, who are both 1-1 in league play.

There are two new teams in the Top 20 this week — River Valley at No. 18 and Christian Brothers at No. 19.
