De La Salle (California) #1 in High School Football America Preseason Top 25

With a ton of talent back and a schedule worthy of a national champion if they run the table, De La Salle is our pick as the top team heading into the 2015 high school football season.

If you look at the High School Football America Preseason Top 25 that uses a combination of our proprietary algorithm with a little opinion, you’ll notice that the top three teams are in very familiar territory with all three finishing in the top three in 2014.

De La Salle edged-out three-time High School Football America “mythical” national champ Allen for the top spot, mainly because the Eagles lose THE best all-time Texas championship quarterback — Kyler Murray, who’s moved-on to Texas A&M.

The margin of difference between De La Salle, Allen and Bishop Gorman was just .018 in our algorithm.

For those of you not familiar with our rankings, we will not release another poll until September 6th.  At that point, we only use our algorithm — we do not mix-in opinion.
