The rematch between defending state champs Bingham and East is here. The two teams that are ranked in the High School Football America Top 100 national rankings will face each other for the second time this year on Friday for Utah’s 6A title game.
Defending 5A Bingham advanced to the first-ever 6A title game by beating Herriman in the semifinals, while the Leopards, who are playing in 6A this year after winning two straight 4A titles, beat Lone Peak.
Bingham won the regular season match-up between the two 48-17 on August 25.
In the 5A championship, No. 5 Skyridge, which nipped former No. 3 Corner Canyon 34-33, takes-on No. 7 Lehi.
The 4A title game features No. 4 Orem facing No. 8 Mountain Crest.
