Hoover, which beat defending 7A state champ McGill-Toolen earlier this week for the school’s 12th state football title, finishes #1 in the final High School Football America Alabama Top 10 that is created with our proprietary algorithm. The Bucs, who are currently ranked #29 in our national rankings, will find-out Sunday, if they’re crack the Top 25. McGill-Toolen entered Wednesday’s championship game ranked #9 in our national poll and was ranked in the Top 25 by all of the other national ranking services.
Ramsay, which beat Opelika for the 6A state championship, moves-up one spot in the final poll to #4, while Opelika drops one spot to #5.
