By winning the “Battle of the Lakes,” the Chaps captures the District 26-6A championship.
The other game involving two Top 100 teams was in Maryland where No. 71 DeMatha shutout No. 73 Good Counsel 28-0 for second place in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. The arch-rivals will also meet next week in the WCAC playoffs.
