It’s a quiet week in the latest High School Football America Texas Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The only changes are at the bottom of the rankings where Carthage moves up a spot to No. 24 and Byron Nelson breaks into the statewide rankings at No. 25.

No. 4 Westlake picked-up a quality 20-14 win against No. 11 Lake Travis. The win was the third straight in the Battle of the Lakes rivalry.

With lots of teams on their bye week this week, we expect a similar look next week.

The biggest game in the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm will be between No. 3 North Shore and C.E. King. The unbeaten Panthers are currently ranked No. 26 in the state and No. 240 nationally.
