Bishop Gorman quarterback Tate Martell is MaxPreps 2014 Sophomore of the Year and a member of the website’s 2014 Sophomore All-American Team.
Martell, who led the Gaels to a #3 overall ranking in High School Football America’s Top 25, threw for for over 2,500 yards and 40 touchdowns. Bishop Gorman captured its sixth straight Nevada state title earlier this month.
