Cabell Midland drops a spot to No. 3 as does South Charleston to No. 4.
This week, top-ranked Martinsburg will play another tough Virginia foe in nationally-ranked Highland Springs. The Springers are ranked No. 140 in the High School Football America national rankings.
During Virginia’s spring season, Highland Springs lost in overtime in the Class 5 state championship game. In the season opener, Martinsburg beat Virginia Class 4 champ Salem.
