Trinity leads the Preseason High School Football America Kentucky Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Coming off its 28th Kentucky state title in 2023, the Shamrocks are highly-ranked in our national rankings at No. 84.
The Rocks open the season with a rematch of last year’s 6A championship game against No. 7 Bryan Station. Trinity won last year’s title game 41-20. In the season opener last year, the Rocks beat Bryan Station 36-7.
In another intra-Top 10 matchup this weekend, No. 4 Douglass opens against No. 10 Bowling Green, the state’s reigning 5A champs.
