After one of the biggest upsets of the year, Boyle County is No. 1 in the High School Football America Kentucky Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The four-time 5A champs beat Ohio three-time Division I champs St. Edward 38-21.

After beating St. Ed, the No. 7 team in the HSFA 300 national rankings, Boyle County moved from No. 230 in the nation to No. 21.

Former No. 1 Trinity suffered its first loss of the year. The Shamrocks lost to Indiana-power Center Grove 24-10. This week, the Rocks will play another Indiana opponent when it travels to Carmel, outside of Indianapolis.

No. 3 Male inched closer to the top of the statewide rankings, created with our proprietary algorithm, with a 35-34 overtime win over St. Xavier. Despite the loss, St. X moves up one spot to No. 4.

Manual moves from No. 6 to No. 5 after beating former No. 4 Douglass 35-28. Douglass drops two spots to No. 6.

Cooper makes its first-ever HSFA Kentucky Top 10 appearance at No. 10.
