The 2024 Indiana high school football regular season will open August 23. Below are the key dates for this season from the Indiana High School Athletic Association.

The nine-week regular season will lead into the postseason that will begin October 25th for Classes 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A. The 6A sectionals begin November 1.

Once again, the state championships will be sponsored by the National Football League‘s Indianapolis Colts and be played in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Below are the key dates for the season.

Aug. 5 – First Practice (Non-Contact)
Aug. 8 – First Practice (Contact)
Aug. 23 – First Contest (Varsity)
Oct. 25, Nov. 1, 8 – Sectionals (5A-1A)
Nov. 1, 8 – Sectionals (6A)
Nov. 15 – Regionals
Nov. 22 – Semi-States
Nov. 29-30 – State Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts
