It’s time for the 2024 high school football season in Alabama. The first day of practice will be August 5 with the season coming to a close with the Super 7 championships in Birmingham on December 6.

Eight teams in the state begin the year ranked in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Leading the way in reigning 7A champ Central (Phenix City) at No. 21.
