Lafayette scores 17 points in the fourth quarter to capture the Virginia Class 3 high school football championship with a 27-13 win over Lord Botetourt. Both teams entered the game unbeaten.
Luke Hanson scored the go-ahead and game-winning touchdown on a QB sneak play for a 17-13 lead.

The championship is the first for Lafayette since 2001.
