For the second year in a row, Mater Dei is the Trinity League champ. Friday night, the Monarchs, No. 1 in High School Football America 300 national rankings and No. 1 in our California Top 25, beat Orange Lutheran 38-14 to capture the league title.

Oregon-commit Jordon Davison ran for three touchdowns in the win that pushes MD to 9-0 overall, heading into the postseason.

St. John Bosco wrapped-up second place with a 44-24 win over JSerra. Maliq Allen ran for 167 yards and a score for the Braves, who are now 9-1 overall.

Bosco ran for 333 yards as a team.

Santa Margarita won its first league game Friday night with a 44-8 rout of Servite, who dropped its fourth straight. John Gazzaniga from for 202 yards and a touchdown.
