The Week 2 winner of the Washington Commanders High School Coach of the Week award is Maurice Vaughn of Dunbar High School. Vaughn has been the head coach at Dunbar for the past six years.

“He (Coach Vaughn) prioritizes his student-athletes’ success in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. Under Coach Vaughn’s leadership, the program has been ranked top three in the conference for highest overall GPA, won multiple championships, and gives back to the community through youth football, church programs, and other service opportunities.”
