Miami Central is the new No. 1 in the High School Football America Florida Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football. The Rockets move to the top of the statewide ranking for the first-time ever after upsetting Preseason No. 1 IMG Academy.

Chaminade-Madonna moves from No. 4 to No. 3 after beating Washington, DC’s St. John’s College High School.

There are two new teams in the Top 25. Leading the way is Osceola (Kissimmee) at No. 22. The Kowboys beat Treasure Coast 14-5, which dropped TC from No. 23 to No. 24.

Osceola will try to build on its big win against No. 20 Seminole (Sanford). The Seminoles blew-out Sarasota Riverview 48-0 in its season opener.

Rockledge enters the Top 25 at No. 25. The Raiders blew-out Preseason No. 17 Gulliver Prep 37-0.

No. 9 Jones (Orlando) moves-up two spots to No. 10 after beating Cocoa, which falls to No. 10 to No. 11. This week, the Fightin’ Tigers to play Duncanville, ranked No. 9 in the High School Football America national rankings. Jones is No. 42 in the HSFA 300.

No. 14 Edgewater has a big out-of-state game. The Eagles will host New Jersey-power Don Bosco Prep, ranked No. 47 in the nation.

In a Top 25 head-to-head, No. 24 Treasure Coast plays No. 9 Jesuit.
