After climbing as high as No. 72 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings in mid-October, Madison Central’s 2019 season is over. The Jaguars drop from the statewide rankings after losing to Olive Branch 24-7 in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs.
The 6A quarterfinals feature two big Top 10 head-to-head matchups — No. 3 South Panola vs. No. 6 Oxford and No. 5 Petal taking-on No. 7 Brandon. During the regular season, Petal beat Brandon 27-24.
New to the High School Football America Mississippi Top 10 this week is Oak Grove at No. 10.
