While the final High School Football America Top 10 won’t be released until next week, De Smet wrapped-up the overall No. 1 ranking with a 35-20 win over No. 2 Joplin in the Show-Me Bowl Class 6 state championship game.
This week, No. 9 Carthage will go after its first state championship when it plays No. 10 Jackson.
