Mobile Christian beat Madison Academy 55-28 Thursday at Bryant-Denny Stadium for the school’s first-ever Alabama high school football championship. Junior quarterback Damien Gatson won the 3A MVP award by tossing five touchdown passes to cap a perfect 15-0 season for the Leopards. Gatson compelted 15-of-20 passes for 298 yards.
